Senator Sinema has now officially announced that she is leaving the Democratic Party. It’s a slap in the face to everyone who worked hard to get her elected. But the truth is, we’ve known for years that she’s not a Democrat, and that she’s only in it for herself. Now that she’s bowed out of a Democratic primary, we’re going to defeat her in the general election with a real Democrat—one who represents Arizona, not one who cozies up to Mitch McConnell, lobbyists, and special interest donors.
